Srinagar, Feb 10 (KNS):  District Development Commissioner, Budgam Tariq Hussain Ganaie today directed concerned departments to ensure inclusion of all farm operating families under the Kisan Credit Card (KSS) scheme.
The DDC was addressing a meeting convened to review progress achieved under KCC scheme in the district.

The meeting was informed that 28358 cases have been sanctioned under the scheme in the district.
The DDC asked financial instructions and concerned departments to ensure clearance of pending cases at an earliest, besides ensuring that all farmers registered under PM-Kisan are covered under KCC scheme.
The DDC directed Agriculture, Horticulture and allied departments to examine the figures and devise a strategy to cover pending families under the scheme.
The meeting was informed that the district has lowest NPA percentage rate and banking sector has conducted BLBC meetings in all blocks, besides taking active part in B2V2 programme. (KNS)
