Srinagar, Jul 04 (KNS): The 24-hour-long encounter that raged between the forces and militants in Bahmnoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district ended on Tuesday morning after the forces blasted three residential houses where the militants had taken cover.
Three militants were killed in an encounter, reports said.
However, there was no official confirmation over the number of militants killed in the encounter.

An army major and a CRPF officer were injured after militants lobbed grenades and tried to break the cordon, reports quoting the officials said.
“Both of them were shifted to a hospital where their condition is said to be stable,” said an official.
Meanwhile, thousands of people today attended the funeral procession of militants who were killed in the encounter. (KNS)
