Ramban, Mar 31 (KNS): On the direction of Deputy Commissioner Bashir Ahmed Dar, an anti-encroachment drive was launched by a revenue team led by Tehsildar Khari, Tanvir Ul Majid in which 215 kanals of state land was retrieved from the encroachers at Village Khari.
The encroachers had illegally occupied the state land in the Khasra nos. 1872, 1876, 1877, 1888, 1889, 1897 and 1898.
While retrieving the land, the officials had to face a sharp resistance from the locals but with the established efforts of the team, the process of eviction was completed successfully.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Cautioning the locals, the tehsildar said that illegally occupied state land in the tehsil shall be retrieved besides adding that the anti-encroachment drive will be continued with more intensity and no one will be allowed to encroach even an inch of the state land. (KNS)
