Srinagar, Jun 19 (KNS): The World Society of Emergency Surgery (WSES) with Head quarters located in Bologna, Italy aims to enhance care of the patients with surgical emergency.
This renowned society frames International guidelines to diagnose and treat acute surgical patient and these are followed worldwide. “To make international consensus, only a few selective surgeons from the worldwide arena are invited to participate and collectively make International guidelines for management of acute surgical disease,” Dr Imtiyaz Wani, a Kashmiri surgeon working with Directorate Health Services who is among 44 renowned worldwide surgeons who framed international guidelines.
In a recently published, WSES guidelines on management for acute cholecystitis, Dr Wani, Surgeon Specialist working with Directorate Health Services ,Kashmir was privileged with honor of invited participation by World Society of Emergency Society for framing guidelines for management of acute calculus cholecystitis.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
It is worth to mention that only 44 renowned International surgeons all over the world were invited for participation, from India only two were selected, one among of two was Dr Wani from Directorate Health Services, Kashmir.
These guidelines have been published in WJES "2016 WSES guidelines on acute calculus cholecystitis.
World Journal of Emergency Surgery (2016) 11:25, the said doctor has been invited for future participation for framing guidelines on other surgical emergency at International level. (KNS)
