Kupwara, Aug 20 (KNS) A-20-year-old youth was killed in an road accident in Karnah Area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday evening.

Report reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said the vehicle Maruti-800 bearing registration number JK01H 6502 met with an accident on the road in Nachian village of Karnah resulting into the critical injuries of youth 

On receiving the news of the accident, the locals reached on spot who rescued the injured youth and shifted to to the sub district hospital Tanghdar, where doctors declared him brought dead.

An official said that the deceased identified as Shafeeq Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad Dar resident of Nachain Karnah. 

He said that a case has been registered and investigations were taken up'. (KNS)
