Budgam, Jan 17 (KNS): A case has been registered against two persons residents for throwing garbage and littering on road side Ichgam village of Budgam district.
An official said the case was registered under relevant sections of IPC in police station Budgam.
He said they were challaned for throwing garbage on the road and creating conditions of infectious diseases.
“On one hand, our Panchayats are continuously working for the cleanliness of the villages and on other hand such irresponsible residents are littering and dumping garbage on the roads for which legal action has been initiated,” he said.
He said the administration is working to keep village and towns clean in the area under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. (KNS)
