2 LeT 'Hybrid Militants' held in Sopore, arms and ammunition recovered

Sopore, Jun 09 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two active hybrid militants along with arms and ammunition in Sopore town of North Kashmir's Baramulla district.
 
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army’s 52 RR and CRPF BN during a Naka arrested two active hybrid militant at Gur Seer area of Sopore town. 
 
He said, that they recovered Incriminating material including 2 Pistols, 2 Magazines and 5 Pistol rounds from their possession.
 
Officials identified him as Faizan Ahmad Paul son of Fayaz Ahmed Paul of Pinjoora Shopian and Muzamil Rashid Mir son of Abdul Rashid Mir of Arihal Pulwama. 
 
Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of law in this regard has been registered in Police Station Tarzoo and further investigation is going on, they added.(KNS)
