Pattan 01 Sep (KNS):Two persons died while 3 others received critical Injuries in a road misha in pattan area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday afternoon.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that an accident between a Car bearing Reg. No JK05J 1597 & Truck with reg no. JK05F 5941 resulted in injuries to at least 5 persons on National highway in Pattan.

All the injured persons were evacuated to nearby trauma hospital pattan by locals for immediate treatment. One among them succumbed on the way and another in the hospital they said.

Official Sources told KNS that All the injured had received critical head injures and were subsequently refered to Srinagar for specialised treatment.

They identified the deceased as Mohmmad Sidiq Khan S/O Abdul Aziz Khan and Ameer Zaman Khan S/O Kamar Zaman Khan Both residents of Trikanjan Baramulla.

Meanwhile Pattan Police has started investigation in this regard.(KNS)
