Srinagar, Mar 26 (KNS): Two army men and a civilian were Saturday injured after militants hurled a grenade outside the Police station in Bijbehara town in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to KNS correspondent, the injured trooper were from first RR and were identified as Mahesh and Hawaldar K Marjhan and were shifted to Army Base Hospital in Srinagar for treatment while the injured civilian, identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar of Haddi Village, Sirgufwara Bijbehara, has been shifted to Bijbehara Sub-district hospital for treatment.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen claims responsibility of an attack and said that many force personnel were injured in an attack while some among them are seriously injured.
In a tele-statement to KNS, Hizb operation spokesman, Burhan-ud-din hailed the militant efforts. “We have directed field operational commanders to carry on such attacks on Indian occupying forces,” he said. (KNS)
