Pattan, Jan 05 (KNS): An 18-year-old girl allegedly hanged self to death in Trikolbal village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the girl hanged self at her home in Trikolbal village today afternoon, following which she was immediately rushed to nearby Trauma hospital.
He said she was however declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
The official said police have taken cognisance of the matter and were ascertaining further details.
Notably, this is the third incident in the district in less than a weeks time. (KNS)
