Srinagar, Nov 05 (KNS): Sixteen year old youth Qaisar Ahmad, a resident of Shalimar has died in SKIMS Soura late Friday evening at around 10 pm.
According to witnesses and reports his body was taken to ancestral home today early morning for his last rites.
They said that mourners carrying the body of Sofi were shouting pro-freedom slogans as they marched towards martyrs’ graveyard in Eidgah. However, forces deployed in the area restored to heavy teargas shelling.
However, reports informed that the funeral prayers of Qaisar was alos tear gassed during which scores of civilians’ sustained injuries.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Qaisar went missing on Oct 27 was found unconscious on Oct 28 and was admitted in SKIMS where he breathed his last.
Family members of Sofi alleged that he was poisoned; however, police has completely contested the allegations.
Meanwhile, reports informed that at least 35 civilians including two women sustained injuries in the clashes. (KNS)
