Srinagar, May 18 (KNS): Additional District Magistrate Mr. Ghulam Hassan Sheikh today seized 11 vehicles for violation of lock-down guidelines and non-compliance of directives enforced in the district.
The Additional District Magistrate on the occasion called for strict observance of lock-down, adding that non-compliance shall attract harsh provisions under National Disaster Management Act 2005 and section 188 of IPC.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said it was the duty of all stakeholders to enforce lock-down and contribute in containing incidence of COVID-19 infection.
He also called upon media persons to render support to the district administration in enforcing complete social distancing measures in red zones and avoiding non-compliance of lock-down.(KNS)
