Ananthang November 25: (KNS) According to the District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Anantnag, 11 candidates have withdrawn their nominations for phase-IV of upcoming District Development Council (DDC), Panchayat and ULB by-elections for Verinag and Shahabad blocks besides, Municipal Committee Dooru Verinag on the last date (23 November, 2020) for withdrawal of candidature.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

These 11 withdrawals include 2 for DDC seats, 3 for Sarpanch, 4 for Panch and 2 for ULB vacancies. Thus a total of 129 candidates are in fray for the polls scheduled to be held on 07 December, 2020 wherever it is necessary.(KNS)
