Srinagar, June 02 (KNS): Authorities on Thursday placed most of the Hurriyat leaders under house arrest, Hurriyat leader said.
Hurriyat (M) Media Advisor, Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam has been placed under house detention while several other leaders detained by the police, the leaders said.
The leader said that senior Hurriyat (M) leaders Javid Mir and Hilal War have been arrested and detained by police.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHurriyat (JK) leader Ahsan Untoo has also been detained by police, the leader said.
Pertinently, Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani has called for protests after congregational prayers on Friday against the recent controversial issues. (KNS)
