Sopore Apr 02 (KNS) : The fire victims of Sopore fire blaze on Saturday appealed to the Government to extend all possible help to them as they have lost everything to the devastated fire. However various social organisations, NGO's came to help the fire victim's. 
 
Various social organisations and NGO acted swiftly and provided help to effected families. The volunteers of Wular Foundation, who are always on a forefront to help the needy rushed to the Hathishah area carrying relief materials Besides, some household items and medicines were also provided to the effected families. 
 
Chairman Wular Foundation while sympathies with the devastated families said, that this act of gesture by Wular Foundation will enable these families atleast start their own kitchens. 
 
The fire victims said that atleast five houses were gutted in the devastated fire incident that occurred in Hathishah area of Sopore on Friday evening. Fire spread thick and fast, not giving people any time to save their belongings. Over six families were residing in these five house's. 
 
The victims said that Firefighters and Police even local youths did their best to control the fire but when fire was brought under control, three structures had turned into ashes while two other partially damaged.
 
"Nobody from the civil administration has helped us so far, We need help from the government to rebuild our shattered lives,” they said. 
 
“We are pinning hope on the government now. We appeal to the government to extend financial assistance to us,” victim's added.(KNS)
