Keenly watching development: Hurriyat (G)

Srinagar, Feb 08 (KNS): A day after the Government of India (GoI) clarified that there was no proposal for setting up separate colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in the state; Hurriyat (G) on Wednesday said that they are keenly watching the development.
Talking to KNS, the Hurriyat (G) chief spokesman, Ayaz Akbar said, “We can’t welcome the statement made by the government as such promises were made previously as well and later they failed to fulfill their promises on the ground.”
He said that they are keenly watching the development whether the government would set up separate colonies for the Kashmiri Pandits or not.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“We can’t say anything at this point of time but we are just watching the development keenly,” he added.
Terming the government as ‘untrustworthy’, the Hurriyat (G) spokesman said, “The promises made by the government in previous have not been fulfilled and how can we believe that the promises made by them would be implemented on the ground,” he said. (KNS)
