He said that the Kashmir Issue can only genuinely be presented at the international level by Kashmiris themselves and not by India and Pakistan. He added that the genuine demands of Kashmiris will only be heard at the international level when we Kashmiris will present our case as a nationalist case instead of a religious one.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe further said that instead of directly jumping to unrealistic solutions, we Kashmiris must demand that the International community facilitates dialogue between Kashmiris in order to build consensus regarding possible future solutions. He also said that there is an urgent need that Kashmiris speak out against violent and radical elements which only harm our cause at the International level. He explained that when we remain silent on the waving of flags of banned organizations or any other display of allegiance to violence, the world concludes that the Kashmiri people are supporters of terrorism. As such, the situation calls for Kashmiris to oppose violence by openly speaking and coming out against any kind of violence or displays of support thereof. He also said that the international community is concerned about the human rights violations. In this regard, he requested the scholars and students present and the Kashmiris in general, not to distinguish between atrociousness on the basis of religion or sentimental alliances. During the interactive debate session the scholars, students and lecturers had a lively and interesting debate regarding his creative writing and how the Kashmir Issue can be presented better at international forums.
