Srinagar, Dec 23 (KNS): The inhabitants of Lane 4, Iqbalabad Bemina have accused the Power Development department of delaying laying of power supply line and electric pole for local Masjid, seeking intervention of Kashmir’s Divisional commissioner and PDD Chief Engineer.
Three weeks ago, the locals of the area said they submitted an application seeking power supply line and electric pole for Masjid before Executive Engineer Shireen Bagh who instantly approved it.
“He asked his subordinate assistant executive engineer Bemina to get the work done as it is required for Masjid alone,” they said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The assistant executive engineer Bemina assured us that the work will be done within three-four days. So far above fifteen days have passed but nothing has happened giving inconvenience to Nimazees in winter,” they added.
They appealed Divisional Commissioner and PDD Chief Engineer to intervene so that the electric pole is installed without any delay. (KNS)
