Handwara, Oct 13 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir police in its efforts to crack the cases of braid chopping, held police public meet in forward areas of Qalamabad.
A special Police Public meeting was held at Qalamabad, chaired by SDPO handwara Shabir Khan, A large number of people from nearby areas of Mawer Qalamabad participated in this meeting.
At the outset of the meeting, the participants were warmly welcomed and appreciated by SHO Qalamabad Abdul Ahad Jan for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting.
According to the KNS correspondent Raja Akbar, while speaking on the occasion, SDPO Handwara Shabir khan seeks help and support of public in order to solve the mystery of braid chopping. SDPO said that recently Special investigation teams are framed in Handwara by SSP Handwara Gulam Jeelani Wani in context with the incidents of braid chopping. He stressed that parents should invest maximum time with their children for a sense of security.
SDPO Handwara Shabir khan also emphasized upon the incidents of braid chopping and asserted that police is investigating each and every incident of braid chopping and people should not pay attention to the rumours, “whatever is the fact will come out soon. He discussed various parameters and technicalities of addressing and restricting this issue. He also shared the (24x7) stress call numbers. (KNS)
