"Hope justice will be served": Basharat Bukhari ahead of Rajnath Singh's visit to Jammu

Srinager, Dec 26 (KNS): With Defence Minister Rajnath Singh scheduled to assess the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir on December 27, former Law Minister Syed Basharat Bukhari remarked on Tuesday, "Umeed hai insaaf karke hi jayenge," indicating the expectation that justice will prevail through this visit.


Expressing firm trust and belief, he conveyed the hope that the three civilian's family, who lost their lives under mysterious circumstances in Poonch , would not be disappointed, emphasizing the expectation for justice.

"Mr. Rajnath Ji, HDM @DefenceMinIndia, you are visiting J&K to assess the situation after the Poonch Encounter. I strongly trust and believe that you will not let down the family of the three individuals who lost their lives under mysterious circumstances. We hope justice will be served. Stay blessed," he said in a post on X formally Twitter.

As previously reported by KNS, the Defence Minister is slated to host a security review meeting at Jammu Raj Bhawan, gathering key figures from the Army, intelligence agencies, Police, BSF, CRPF, etc. The Defence Minister will engage with the local community in the area where three civilians reportedly died last week, purportedly while in the Army's custody.(KNS)
