Srinagar, 29 Aug (KNS) : Road macadamization works have commenced in Gawkadal, Basant Bagh, Chadpora, Habba Kadal and Chinkral Mohalla at a cost of ?47 lakh, under the initiative of MLA Habba Kadal, Shameema Firdous.

The works are aimed at improving road conditions and providing better connectivity and safer passage to residents in the affected areas.

Shameema Firdous directed the concerned executing agencies to ensure timely completion of the works within the stipulated time frame, while strictly maintaining quality standards. The MLA expressed appreciation to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the elected government for their continued focus on development and its outreach towards Srinagar. She said that improving basic civic infrastructure remains a priority and that such interventions will provide tangible relief to residents.

Shameema Firdous reiterated her commitment to addressing the developmental and civic concerns of the people of Habba Kadal and ensuring that pending issues are taken up with the concerned authorities for early resolution.(KNS)
