Baramulla, July 25 (KNS): Eeman Khan, a student of St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Baramulla, has released her debut fiction novel, The Lord of Sorcery, marking her entry into the field of fiction writing.

 

The book was formally launched by the Baramulla Writers Forum during a literary function held in Baramulla. The event was attended by members of the literary community, students and other participants. During the programme, the author spoke about the novel, her interest in writing and the process that led to the publication of her first book. She also responded to questions from the audience.

 

Eeman is the daughter of Imran Khan, a software engineer, and Aasima Jan, a teacher. According to information shared at the event, she developed an interest in reading and storytelling at a young age, which eventually led to writing The Lord of Sorcery.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

 

Besides her academic studies, Eeman also participates in sports and continues to pursue writing alongside her other activities.

 

Addressing the gathering, Eeman acknowledged the support of her parents and teachers in encouraging her to write and complete the book. She urged students to pursue their interests with consistency and determination.

 

The organisers said the event was held to introduce the book to readers and provide an opportunity for interaction between the young author and the audience. The novel is a work of fiction and is Eeman Khan's first published book. (KNS)
