Srinagar, June 10 (KNS): Soon after assuming the office, Director Srinagar International Airport, Javed Anjum Saturday said that he will carry forward the good work done by his predecessor. He assured every genuine issue pertaining to airport and passengers will be definitely resolved in coming times.
Speaking exclusively to Kashmir News Service, Director Srinagar International Airport Javed Anjum said he will carry forward the good workdone by his predecessor. "I will try my best to carry forward the good work done by my predecessor as he has done a great job here," he said.
He said issues pertaining to Airport and passengers will be tried to resolve in coming times in order to make this airport very smooth and passenger friendly.
About Hajj 2023 arrangements, he added that there are already special arrangements in place. "There are exclusive arrangements in place for Hajj pilgrims at the airport which will not affect our normal affairs. There are ample seating arrangements and allocation of space for prayers (Namaz) for Hajj pilgrims," he added.
He also added the airport authority has recently introduced e-cart services for smooth and hassle-free of passengers. "A passenger must leave his convenience at x-ray scanning point where from he will be taken to airport through these carts. It has been mainly introduced to avoid traffic movement at the airport," he added. (KNS)
