Srinagar November 18 (KNS): Moving a step forward for the improvement of health care Well Care Medical Institute(WMI) starts it's oncosurgery services.
Multiple cases of Ca bladder,Ca ureter and Ca breast were operated by noted urologists Dr Azhar Khan, Dr Suhail Khan and General Surgeon Dr Aga and supported by theatre and anaesthesia technicians Mr Akhlaq,Mr Mohsin and Mr Junaid.Proper baseline investigations, cytologies, biopsy procedures were done prior to the surgical intervention.
Resident doctors,paramedical, supportive and administrative staff were actively involved at each step from admission to discharge of the patients.
Post operative period remained successful and patients were discharged following proper protocol.
Dr Masood ul Hassan Medical Director appreciated the whole team and said, "we have an active tumor board in our hospital and each case is properly analysed and discussed prior to its management".
He further said, "these are complex surgeries and it's a big step for our hospital which was established few months back and we will be continuing doing these type of challenging cases in future".(KNS)
