Wearing of masks made mandatory in Bandipora, violators to pay Rs 200 fine

Bandipora March 22  (KNS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora  Dr Owais Ahmad on monday said that wearing face masks from tomorrow is mandatory in the district and violators will be treated offense under Disaster Management Act.
Talking  to KNS Reporter Bandipora,  DC Dr Owais Ahmad  said, $ we have passed an order today in which it has been made mandatory in Bandipora  to wear face masks from today to keep Covid-19 virus away. He added those who will disobey the orders will be treated as offence under Disaster Management Act.
Residents of Bandipora are bound to wear face masks from tomorrow  to stop the transmission of Covid-19 in community. Those who will float directions will be dealt strictly under Disaster Management Act”, DC said .
DC also said that  Rs 200 fine to be imposed on persons found without wearing masks in public places for the first offence and Rs 500 for repeat offence in Bandipora (.KNS)
