Kupwara July 11 (KNS) : The Victory Torch of Kargil Vijay Diwas was received by Army at Nowgam Military Station on 11 Jul 2022.
The Victory Flame was brought to Kandi Bridge, Naugam and handed over for Victory Walk till the Brigade Gate.
The victory torch is being carried across the country to commemorate the remarkable victory over pakistan in Kargil war in 1999.
Local population of Lawoosa, Naugam village, Sarpanchs, senior citizens and students supported the event wholeheartedly.
This eternal flame reminds us the indomitable courage of the Indian armed forces during war and it's a tribute to the brave soldiers who made supreme sacrifice for the motherland during Kargil war.(KNS)
