Langate May 13 (KNS) :A vehicle loaded with timber products was seized by Langate Forest Division in Kralgund Langate.

Conservator of Forests north Kashmir Irfan Rasool informed Kashmir News Service (KNS) that an input was received regarding the movement of vehicle with illicit forest produce and accordingly nakka was laid at Kralgund. The nakka party intercepted the vehicle loaded with unassembled timber products of total quantity Deodar 133 nos 43.65 cft.

The driver of the vehicle failed to produce a supporting transit pass for the consignment and accordingly vehicle along with forest property was seized instantly under sec.52 of the Indian Forest Act, he said.
A case has been registered against involved culprits Mohammad Ishaq Najar and Mohammad Ashraf Teli both residents of Haril. (KNS)
