Two years on Bridge constructed in Ramhal Village yet to made functional

Handwara, July 15 (KNS): Residents of Hangikoot Ramhal in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday expressed anger R&B Department for failing complete the bridge in the area.

The resident of the village told KNS over phone that the bridge was constructed two years back with the cost of 35 lakhs and payment has been withdrawn by the contractor without completion of the work.

They also said that the cracks have surfaced on the concerted walls and they will fall at any time, the resident added that the bridge is useless.
They have appealed authorities to look in to look into the matter so that they will not face the problems ahead.

However, when KNS contacted Executive officer R&B Division hardwara he assured that issued will be redressed soon however said the funds area available for it (KNS)
