KISHTWAR, APRIL 13 (KNS): Taking serious note of the unauthorized absence of Tehsil Supply Officer Marwah and Warwan, Firdous Ahmed from his duties during current situation arisen due to COVID-19 pandemic. District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara has placed him under suspension and has attached him in DC office.

The action was taken on the basis of a report received from Assistant Director Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Kishtwar that the TSO Marwah and Warwan is at Jammu at present and has remained absent from his legitimate duties.

Further to ensure the sufficient supply and distribution of ration in the Marwah and Warwan areas Incharge Supervisor, Mir Bazar, Yasir Ahmed has been deployed to look after the duties of TSO Marwah and Warwan in addition to his duties.

SDM Marwah Dr Mohsin Raza, has been appointed as inquiry officer and was asked to conduct the detailed inquiry into the matter and furnish the report within 15 days.(KNS)
