Tral, Sep 24 (KNS) : An unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight at Tral village of South Kashmir an official said.

He said one unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter that broke this morning.

Earlier, he said joint team of Army, CRPF and Police launched Cardon and Search operation (CASO) in the area following the movement of militants.

He said as as the joint team of forces encircled the spot the hiding militants fired upon them, the fire was retaliated ensuing gun battle in the area.
