Time has come for people of J&k to reject the self-serving politics of traditional families 'NC and PDP' : Vakil

Sopore July 2 (KNS) : Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference Senior Vice President and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil said that the time has come for the people of Kashmir to reject the self-serving politics of traditional families who have for decades exploited the sentiments of the people only to consolidate power in two families.

Vakil accused the National Conference and PDP of befooling common people by lies, deceit and fallacy in lieu of power and conveniently turn their backs when they are entrusted with it. Vakil  said that National Conference and PDP have inked a ‘secret deal’ to save their two family rule.Vakil was addressing workers convention at Nowpora sopore.

While addressing the gathering Vakil said that the people of J&K have been trapped in the post August 5, 2019 situation and that PC will stand up for them in our united quest to retrieve back that is rightfully ours. “We at the PC believe that existing changelessness is a big challenge and an even bigger challenge is navigating a dignified way out of the web of disempowerment.

Vakil also stressed on the Lt Governor to resume the food truck services to other parts of the country especially Delhi as the apples are rotting resulting in heavy loss to the fruit industry.

Addressing the gathering Sr. PC Leader and former MLA Bashir Ahmad Dar stressed upon the workers to strengthen JK Peoples’ Conference in the state. “PC is the alternative who can deliver as traditional parties of J&K have always exploited the people on the basis sentimental slogans and done nothing for the common man who is now suffering because of these traditional parties,” he claimed.

In the convention many sarpanches from Sopore constituency  joined Peoples conference in presence of Abdul Gani Vakil namely Fayaz Ahmed Naiko (Taarzua C), Rayees Ahmed (Darnamal Sopore), Nazir Ahmed (Taarzua Sopore), Ghulam Hasan War (Warpora), Mohammad Shabaan (Muqam Shareef), Jahangir Ahmad (Watlaab), Ghulam Rasool Tantry (Nawpora Kalan), Mohmmad Sidiq (Deputy Sarpanch Seer).(KNS)
