Srinagar, Aug 24 (KNS): The Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCs&CA), Monday suspended three officials for black marketing of Kerosene oil in Pulwama District.
A issued in this regard reads as Consequent upon the seizure of illegally stored kerosene oil in bulk quantity by Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama at Samboora, Khackoot, Lethpora, Pampore and sealing of SKO Dealers for non-maintenance of requisite records. It is hereby ordered that the following officials are hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect. Abdul Rashid, Tehsil Supply Officer, Kerosene Enforcement,Pulwama, Bashir Ahmad Ahanger, Tehsil Supply Officer, Pampore and Taj Musa Rather, Assistant Storekeeper-cum-Clerk, Pulwama
The order further reads, It is further ordered that Mr Akbar Wani (KAS), Controller Legal Metrology. J&K shall conduct a preliminary enquiry into the incident and submit a report to the Administrative Department within week's time.
An official said that IGP Kashmir has been directed to constitute a team headed by ASP rank officer to further investigate the matter (KNS)
