Srinagar, Dec 09 (KNS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone Vidhi Kumar Birdhi Saturday said those misuse social media for terror narrative and disturb peace and tranquility in the region will be dealt as per law. He said those sharing incriminating content "unintentionally" need to be counseled to keep them away from radical thought.
"Those use social media platforms for disturbing peace, law & order and spreading terror narrative will be dealt as per law," IGP Kashmir Zone as per KNS said while talking to reporters in north Kashmir's Bandipora.
He said police will act tough against those who will be found involved in disturbing law and order situation in valley. "No body will be allowed to deteriorate peace and tranquility in valley. Whoever would be involved in breaching law won't be spared," IGP Kashmir Zone said.
He added, "After I took charge as the IG Kashmir Zone, I have been visiting every district one-by-one and today I visited Bandipora. The aim of visit was to check the preparations of the Bandipore police and what refinements are required were checked," IGP added. (KNS)
