Thirty persons recovered, allowed to walk home in Chrar


Srinagar, May 14 (KNS): Authorities on Thursday discharged thirty Covid-19 suspects from quarantine establishment in Chrar area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), warm send off was given to at least thirty Covid-19 suspected persons who were quarantined in Model Degree College Zaloosa Chrar-e-Shareef soon after ten positive cases were reported back to back in adjoining areas of Chrar.
Officials said that all persons were first kept in Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chrar-e-Shareef and later on were shifted to Model Degree College Zaloosa for further quarantine.
After completing fourteen days of quarantine period and following due medical protocol, they were allowed to walk to their homes by authorities, officials said and added tests of all such persons came negative repeatedly.
Besides officials of district administration including Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr Mastoora Iqbal, Nodal Officer SDH Chrar Dr Jan Mohammad, officials of Budgam Police and Municipal Committee members remained present at the occasion and expressed gratitude on their recovery and home back. (KNS)
