Teachers Forum bla, gives warm send off to Union trade leader, Rafique Rather

Baramulla, 19 Aug (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum Baramulla organized a grand farewell function in honor of its Chairman & renowned trade union leader Mr Mohd Rafique Rather in the auditorium of Govt Degree College Baramulla. The function was attended by central, provincial leaders and all district presidents of kashmir valley besides a large number of teachers. Renowned educationists, civil society members.Journalists, social activists and religious scholars graced the occassion with their presence.

The speakers highlighted the rich contribution of Mr Mohd Rafique Rather and termed his role as an exemplary and unparalleled who devoted his 25 years for the service of others. They also recalled that the outgoing Chairman has proved his mettle and capabilities which would cherish memories for a long time. 
 District President Baramulla Ishfaq Shaha while addressing the gathering said that Mohd Rafique Rather was an advocate of egalitarianism and integrity in the eemployees fraternity, rising from the ground, became the President EJAC/Chairman JKTF. Even after passing two years in the pendemic, his tenure will be remembered for many important achievements and role in safeguarding the honor,dignity and rights of employees. He however congratulated the outoing Chairman for his long and successful career. 

Speaking in the occasion Karamat Qayoom Senior Journalist said that the outgoing Chairman has always remained at the forefront in highlighting the issues & concerns of the employees of J&K.

Mohd Amin Khan Vice Chairman JKTF while speaking recalled the services of the outgoing chairman applauded the diligence, commitment and exemplary devotion towards his duties and responsibilities throughout his entire career as a teacher and trade union leader. 

On the occasion Rafique Rather in his eloquent address stirred the head, heart and emotions of the audience. He recalled the time when he first joined Trade Union and said that he will always consider himself as part of Teachers Forum family but the leaders of this organization should find their unique drum beats and not to loose their identity in this era of herd mentality.
Rather also thanked his functionaries for organising such a function in his honor and love. 
Rather said, I am leaving behind a team that is future-ready and I am sure there will be more success stories from this organization in the coming months and years. 
He urged young employees to come farward, take lead & fight for the cause in safeguarding their honor and rights.
