Srinagar, 01 Aug (KNS) : The Communications Wing of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Saturday held a high-level strategy meeting at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, to comprehensively review the party's media and digital communication framework and chart a more cohesive, responsive, civil and people-centric outreach strategy. The meeting was convened by the party's Social Media Head, Ifra Jan.
The meeting was attended by MLA Uri Dr. Sajad Shafi Uri, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Provincial Youth President Mir Mushtaq Ahmad, District Women's President Baramulla Adv. Neelofar Masood, Provincial Spokespersons and pannelists Mohammad Imran Qazi, Nasir Lone, Umesh Talashi and Abrar Hamid, besides members of the party's media and social media teams, panellists and communication functionaries.
Detailed deliberations focused on strengthening synergy between the media and digital communication wings, institutionalising a rapid, fact-driven, civil and coordinated response mechanism, effectively countering misinformation and malicious propaganda, enhancing narrative-building capacities and expanding the party's communication network across every organisational tier.
Addressing the meeting, Sadiq underscored that the National Conference's communication strategy must reflect the party's rich political legacy, democratic ethos and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the interests and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"The National Conference has never subscribed to the politics of hatred, abuse or division. Under the visionary leadership of our President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Hon'ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, we will continue to counter falsehood with facts, propaganda with truth and provocation with dignity. Our credibility, political character and enduring bond with the people remain our greatest strength and guiding force," he said.
He called upon party spokespersons, panellists and communication teams to maintain the highest standards of discipline, factual accuracy and professionalism while proactively highlighting the government's people-centric initiatives, reform-oriented governance agenda and the National Conference's vision across print, electronic, digital and social media platforms.
The meeting unanimously reaffirmed that the National Conference's public discourse would remain principled, responsible and firmly rooted in constitutional values. It also resolved to further strengthen the party's media and digital communication infrastructure, deepen coordination across all communication platforms, ensure the timely dissemination of authentic information and build a more agile, disciplined and impactful public outreach mechanism capable of effectively engaging with people at every level.(KNS)
