Langate June 02 (KNS): In a display of democratic enthusiasm, Tanveer Ahmad Malik, a Forester, was today elected as the Divisional President of the Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association (NGFOA), Langate Forest Division.
The elections were held in a peaceful and orderly manner, with active participation from forest employees across the division. Following the announcement of results, the newly elected president received warm congratulations from colleagues who expressed strong optimism that the new leadership would prioritize the welfare, dignity, and professional interests of forest staff.
Addressing the gathering after his victory, Tanveer Ahmad Malik expressed heartfelt gratitude to the employees for reposing their trust in him.
“I consider this victory as the victory of all employees. I assure you that I will work with full sincerity and dedication for the strengthening of our association and for the resolution of genuine issues faced by field staff and other members,” he said.

Malik stressed the importance of unity, brotherhood, and collective efforts among all members. He called upon the fraternity to work together for effective representation of their concerns before the authorities.

The newly elected president also appreciated the spirit shown by all candidates and voters during the electoral process and reiterated his commitment to making NGFOA more responsive, inclusive, and employee-centric.
