Swift action by Anantnag police: 3 missing minor girls traced, reunited with families

 Anantnag, Jun 13 (KNS) : In a swift operation, police here traced three minor girls within hours after they went missing from the Nunwani area, officials said on Saturday.

 
The girls, identified as Munaza Mudasir, daughter of Mudasir Ahmad Bhat; Serat Jan, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh; and Umera Jan, also daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh, residents of Nunwani and Wardwan, had reportedly gone missing from their homes on the evening of June 12.
 
Acting promptly on the information, Anantnag Police constituted multiple teams under the close supervision of the Superintendent of Police (SSP), Anantnag, and launched a coordinated search operation, an official said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
Through technical assistance and ground-level verification, the police traced all three girls within hours. They were found safe and in good health, the official added.
 
After completing necessary legal formalities, the minors were handed over to their respective families.
 
The swift recovery underscores the commitment of Anantnag Police to ensuring the safety and security of citizens, particularly children and other vulnerable sections, officials said.
