Srinagar, May 16 (KNS): Reports reached through Police said that five nomadic families were on way to Kashmir, while reaching to Nikon top Nandimarg area of District Kulgam they were caught in heavy hailstorm and strong winds. The rescued family while talking to KNS said that due to this incident their hundreds of livestock and 15 horse's along with 230 Sheep got killed, they also praised and thanked JAndK Police, local volunteers, SDM and TEHSILDAR DHPORA. While confirming the incident TEHSILDAR DHPORA NIYAZ AHMAD told KNS that JandK Police along with local volunteers have safely rescued 5 families with 30 members after strenuous efforts. He also said that they will enforce a team who will confirm the livestock damage as said by the rescued family and will make every possible effort to provide shelter and basic needs to the rescued family members.
