Srinagar-Jammu highway closed for second consecutive day

Srinagar, Feb 02 (KNS): The Srinagar-Jammu national highway remained closed for the second consecutive day on Friday due to landslips at several places, officials said.
 
The officials said that the restoration work is underway at Kishtwari Pather, Sherbibi, Magerkote, Mehad-cafeteria and Dalwas.
 
They said the men and machinery are on job to clear the debris and restore the flow of traffic on the stretch.
 
Hundreds of vehicles are stranded at various places along the highway, the official maintained.(KNS)
