Soz writes letter to Mamta requests her to facilitate Kashmir stranded residents

Srinagar, May 17 (KNS): Former union minister professor Saif U Din Soz on Sunday said that he had wrote a letter to Chief Minister of West Bengal requested her to facilitate travel of those Kashmiris, who want to return home, immediately due to Corona Virus.
A letter issued to KNS reads “In my letter to West Bengal Chief Minister, Ms. Mumta Banerji today, I told her that I have always held her in high esteem for her secular values in life.
I further reminded her that I had also known it for a fact that she was deeply committed to precious values of equity and justice!
I informed her that while the Kashmiris, either working or receiving education there, seem to be pretty happy, but, most of them wanted to return home in Kashmir due to the Corona Virus!
I told her further that as for my information, more than 6000 Kashmiris were involved in different pursuits in Kolkata and other places in West Bengal and many of them wanted to return home soon, for the time being.
I earnestly requested her to assess the situation herself and facilitate the safe return of Kashmiris, who wanted to return to their homes, immediately.” (KNS)
