Socio-Political activist MA Shah appeals admin to resume road widening project, urges authorities to redress public problems

Ganderbal, Jan 16 (KNS): The social and political activist of Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah has urged district administration to resume and complete the lingering road widening project of Ganderbal which is the only solution to ease out public miseries from the routine traffic jams and mess evoked by the congested traffic mechanism from Nagbal to Duderhama chowk.

As per the statement issued to news agency-kashmir news service(KNS), Shah while showing a serious concern said that people of Ganderbal are suffering since decades as the previous governments lead by NC and PDP have only cared for their vote banks and nothing could be done for the development and the welfare of common people.

Shah appealed LG administration, Deputy Commissioner, Exen R&B and other concerned authorities to resume work on the already taken up road widening project from Nagbal to Wayil. He also urged Municipal Council Ganderbal to work and act against encroachment of footpaths by some mean shopkeepers and traders.

Shah said if MCG, R&B, MVD, Traffic police and other concerned department work with dedication and mutual coordination, people will get a sigh of relief from the consistent traffic jams and undue congestion on the already shrink road at Beehama, Duderhama towards Kheerbhawani.

He said Ganderbal has been ignored and politically exploited during the previous government but now LG administration is expected to redress the public grievances at an earliest (KNS).
