Budgam November 05 (KNS): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Vice President Kashmir Province Er. Nazir Yatoo visited Chari Sharief town and had a detailed meeting with senior citizens.
Locals informed me during the meeting that former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Jagmohan had visited Charar Sharief town in 1986 and made a promise that his Government would look after this noble place just as we look after Shri Mata Vishno Devi Katra and that both locations would be a gift to our nation. But up to this point, we have never seen the same development here at Charar Sharief town."Er. Nair Yatoo" said .
Er. Yatoo further said that it is visible to everyone that a university has been established in the name of Mata Vishno Devi; I appreciate that, but I don't understand why Shekh-ul-Aalam university has not yet been established; if this would not have been possible earlier, current government can fulfil the promise."
The Title "Model Town" has been bestowed upon our Charari Sharief. What is the model here? we are still behind. Nothing has changed in model town. I appeal J&K LG Manoj Sinha to make our Charar Sharief model town in real sense and use the Shrine's revenue to build the Sheikh Ul Aalam University, Said Yatoo.(KNS)
