Srinager, June 08(KNS): A one-day seminar -cum- cultural program on Cyber Security-Cyber Hygiene was organized by Cultural Unit Kashmir DIPR in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School Amirakadal Srinagar today at GHSS Amira Kadal Srinagar.
The program was attended by more than hundred students,staff of GHSS Amirakadal and the DIPR officers.
Cultural Officer kashmir Burhan Hussain, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in his welcome address highlighted the importance of sensitization and frequent awareness about the increasing cyberattacks.
He elaborated Cyber Security threats and strategies to protect against them, Current Attack Scheme used by Hackers, Malware, Password attacks, E-mail spoofing etc.
Student speekers also highlighted the serious issues of cyber frauds and suggested important tips for cyber security.
Artists of Shahr-e-Khaas Literary and Welfare Society presented theme based drama and dance on the occasion.
Later Cultural Officer Burhan Hussain, AECO Syed Shakeel Shan and Vice Principal, GHSS Amira Kadal presented certificates and momentos to the participants.(KNS).
