Schools reopen in Kashmir after 3-months winter break

Srinagar, Mar 1 (KNS): Schools in the Kashmir Valley reopened Wednesday after remaining closed for three months on account of winter vacations.

Students as well as teachers were seemingly happy to go back to school after a gap of 3 months even as there was a sudden change in the weather conditions.

Amid rain and cold weather, students headed to their schools with a smiling face as many of them were feeling bored by remaining confined at home for a long time.

Schools were closed in December last year for winter break as the temperature usually falls several degrees below the freezing point during this time.

Kashmir also experiences frequent snowfall or rains during the December-January period. (KNS)
