School education department infested with mediocre administration: Kadfeen

Srinagar, Sep 21 (KSN): Terming the government decision of seeking written consent from parents for sending their kids to school as bizarre, pathetic and ruthlessly uncalled for, Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary has said that the reflection of the bad governance in Jammu and Kashmir is subtly coming to the fore.
In a statement issued to KNS, Kadfeen said that the J&K government has asked the parents to be responsible for the safety of their wards while sending them to schools. He said the letter of consent declares that the parents have been asked to give an undertaking that they will be personally responsible if there is any untoward incident like coronavirus infection with their ward. “This is ridiculous and smacks of the sorry state of governance here. The mediocre bureaucrats accorded the sensitive postings have resulted into the mess we are in at present. The letter by the school education department itself is condemnable and merits severe action against those who have drafted it in the first place. The school education department must understand that nowhere in the world is any government taking in writing from parents that they will be responsible for coronavirus infection of their ward. Governor Administration must take action without delay,” said Kadfeen.(KNS)
