Srinagar, Jan 07 (KNS): The replica of houseboat becomes centre of attraction for the visitors at the JK floor of India Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2022 

According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the houseboat hospitality is making its mark again by pulling crowds and attracting the elite sheikhs of Dubai to explore and enquire more and more about this floating luxurious heritage of Kashmir as the directorate of Industries has flown the replica of wooden houseboat and shikara to Dubai Festival first time.

The statement reads that the replica of houseboat is crafted and carved by renowned walnut wood furniture manufacturer M/S VENOOS Furniture of international fame known for excellent workmanship and craft.

“This has emerged as a rocking attraction for the attention of all visitors. JK pavilion although has other digital attractions as well in the form of Tourism, Culture and Cuisine. An entourage of officers and officials are part of the JK team specifically to attract investors and visitors for the UT of Jammu Kashmir aimed at getting economical benefits to the people of Jammu Kashmir.”

As per the statement, director Industries Kashmir, Mehmood Ahmad Shah, who is the nodal officer for this mega international event, has expressed satisfaction over the impact and success of this well organised event.

He, as per the statement, has hoped to get more and more enquiries and calls from the target market purposely. (KNS)
