Rahul Gandhi's Yatra spreads hatred, controversy not love: Tarun Chugh

Srinagar, Jan 11 (KNS): BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has said that Rahul Gandhi is making hollow claims of spreading love through his yatra, but the ground reality is that he is conspiring to spread hatred, controversy, appeasement and quarrels in the country.

In a statement Tarun Chugh said Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra is going to promote politics of appeasement, nepotism and dispute.

“Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by the main accused of 1984 Delhi Sikh riots including Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar, Kamal Nath. He cannot muster the courage to find a way to get them out of the party,” he said.

Questioning Rahul Gandhi, Chugh said they awarded and glorified those involved in Sikhriots by giving them big posts in the party.

He said Rahul Gandhi, who came out to unite India, is trying to restore his political future, while Congress is not able to unite itself.

“They have to remember that there is no place left for Congressmen like Rahul Gandhi in the new script written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country's politics. Congress has been following the policy of divide and rule between different communities, states, classes and castes,” he said.

He said while taking the first step in Jammu andKashmir during the Punjab Yatra, they will have to remember the sacrifice of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits who lost their lives because of the then Congress backed governments.

“Millions fled because of the politics of Gandhi, Nehru, Mufti and Abdul. The politics of these three families is dynastic, egoistic, corrupt, separatist, pseudo-secularism, which has done a lot of damage to the country,” he said. (KNS)
