Team Secretariat will participate in “Avengers Cup” being organised by Avengers Club Maloya, Chandigarh

Jammu, April 5 (KNS): Taking an initiative, the Government of Punjab revived Punjab Secretariat Cricket Club issuing a grant to the club for the purpose of promoting sports and youth services in the State of Punjab. Contributing to the society for this purpose, Aryans Group of Colleges came forward to sponser official jersey for the cricket team of Secretariat.  Deputy Principal Secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Gurinder Singh Sodhi, who is also the Chief Patron of the club, was honoured by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group by presenting him a memeto.

Addressing the media, the President of the club and the captain of the secretariat cricket team S. Bhupinder Singh said that the team of the Secretariat has been practicing with its own resources for a long time. Now with the grant received from the Punjab government, sports kits have been procured for the team, for which the club is thankful to the Government. Mr. Naveen Sharma, Treasurer, Secretariat Cricket Club informed that equipment has been procured in the club with the help of government grants. He said that the team of the Punjab Secretariat Cricket Club is participatng in the Avengers Cup being organized by Avengers Club, Maloya, Chandigarh.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that his group is working hard to provide good educational services in the state as well as motivating the youth for sports and social service to build a better and healthier Punjab. Aryans Group of Colleges Deputy Director Dr. Garima Thakur, Media Coordinator Miss Manjit Kaur and Finance Officer Mr. Manu Kataria were present on the occasion. Management of Punjab Secretariat Cricket Club in which Vice President Satish Chander,  Press Secretary Gurpreet Singh, General Secretary Neeraj Prabhakarand Joint Secretary Gurveer Singh were specially present.
