Pulwama: Globil's Agri and Food Enterprises, a Pulwama based Agri business firm has signed MoU's with Indian institute of integrative medicine (IIIM) and Tuljaram Chandrachud Collage ( TCC), Maharashtra based technology institute.
Shabir Ahmad, Managing Director of Globil's Agri and Food Enterprises said that the memoranda of understanding between their firm and two other institutes will enable them to exchange mutual skill in terms of research and testing to develop new bio and organic products.
"The TCC will provide ideas to translate into commercial products and it will also enable the two partners to have mutual access to market," he said 'adding that IIIM will provide microbes to test their applicability before developing them into potential bio/organic products.
Shabir, who has been in Agri business from past couple of years and is managing a firm, Globiotech limited, in UP's Aligarh for 10 years, said that Kashmir has a huge potential for agricultural related business keeping in view vast resources.
"We will be manufacturing organic and bio fertilizers, Cultivation and Extraction of aromatic and medicinal plants," he said, adding their focus will remain not on providing employment but creating avenues for employment. "We want to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to create job avenues," he said, adding their firm will provide them all guidance including support, consultancy and other technical aid for project development.
